Aim
Raising funds to launch a website that increases awareness and uptake of community energy investment opportunities across the UK.
Since we launched in July 2024, the Community Energy Investors Club has been providing impartial information about investment in community energy and featuring community share and bond investment opportunities in line with the Club's aims (see below) on LinkedIn, where we now have an amazing following of 840+ people!
Now is the time to launch a website - we will create a digital home for the Club that reflects its mission and supports its growth and will be an accessible and dynamic hub for promoting community energy investment opportunities across the UK. The site will:
Increase Visibility of Share Offers
By being the most comprehensive, platform-agnostic list of all known live and upcoming community energy investment opportunities across the UK.
Provide a Knowledge Hub
It will educate visitors about the benefits and mechanics of community energy investing. It will also serve as a trusted information hub for individuals and institutions interested in ethical investment and clean energy.
Prepare Investors for Club Membership Launch
By providing a clear pathway to join the Club’s mailing list (which in future could develop into membership) and participate in its growing community.

The Aims of the Community Energy Investors Club:
- Advocate for community renewable energy projects
- Provide information about UK community renewable energy projects and investment into them
- Make people aware of UK community renewable energy investment opportunities
- Share experiences of investing in community energy
- Get members and community energy organisations to alert the Club to community energy investment opportunities – live and pre-funding (for pledges)
- Track the scale & growth of the community energy investment market
- Advocate for innovations that make investing in UK community renewable energy projects a better experience for investors
