Aim
We provide complimentary meals and activities to all in the local community and need your help to keep it going!
Who are we?
Hello!
We are a community cafe in Hall Green. We are run by volunteers and hope you will join us on Thursday Afternoons. We are open 2-5pm with complimentary hot food served between 2:30 and 4:15.
We have crafts and games available as well as access to a community library.
All are welcome :)
We know times are touch at the moment. People are feeling isolated or are watching the pennies extremely closely. We want to create a safe and warm space where people can meet, eat and take part in well-being and creative activities without worrying about the costs
Community impact
From school children and their families, to those who live on their own, we are open to EVERYONE and regularly get 35 guests each week and rising. We have become a signposting hub to local schemes and resources in the community.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We want continue to offer complimentary meals and activities. The cost of living crisis is not going to suddenly disappear. We are hoping this will become a permanent community hub for all
How we’ll spend the money raised
Money raised will go towards our running costs, keeping our heatin on, our fridges stocked and our cafe open!
