Aim
To repurpose a store shed into a community bakery offering employment to vulnerable young people and fresh local bread for our community
We believe passionately in offering everyone an opportunity to find a place in their communtiy and develop their potential. We train and support vulnerable young people and adults to build their confidence, range of skills and get work. Only 6% of people with learning disabilities are in work in the uk yet 80% want to work. We already employ 6 people with learning disabilities and want to create more work.
We have a range of social enterprises and 100% of all our money goes into our charity opportunities for our trainees and team. No shareholders! We have a proven track record of running sustainable social enterprises that work.
We have a chance to create a bakery to complement our café and farm shop. It will offer a local business, local employment, training opportunities and great bread!
