Aim

To provide a sturdy noticeboard for a community garden in the heart of Plymouth

• Thanks to its generous supporters, Collings Park Trust has created a beautiful community garden in the heart of Plymouth. 

Our fundraisers help pay for the essentials of keeping this space safe and welcoming to people and wildlife alike. 

Now we would like to enhance the gardens with a sturdy, attractive noticeboard to help visitors engage with the project, find out more about the wildlife on site and the community events which take place here. It would be similar to this one 

Our Story So Far...

Collings Park Trust is a registered charity which has create a community garden, open to all, for the enjoyment of generations now and to come. The garden is a city sanctuary for wildlife and a wonderful green space for food-growing, exercise and community events. 

The site in the heart of Plymouth comprises former lawn tennis courts next to the Collings Park playing fields in Mannamead. They fell into disuse and were earmarked for possible development.

Local people who had long used the area for recreation and relaxation rallied round. They set up the Collings Park Trust, came up with a plan and worked with the council to buy the site. Three years on the project goes from strength to strength - proving fruitful in every sense!
