Cohort 41's Fundraiser for RNLI & MS-UK

Aim

Cohort 41 are raising money for both RNLI and MS-UK, Funds raised will be split equally amongst both charities.

Cohort 41 have just began their professional careers in Lincolnshire Police Force, and have chosen two charities to raise money in order to support both organisations.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) operates along the coasts of the United Kingdom, ensuring the safety of the residents and visitors of the surrounding areas near the sea. deploying Lifeboats and other countermeasures in order to prevent injury occurring and act appropriately when an emergency is called in along the coast. The RNLI's efforts are completely funded through public donations, these brave volunteers risk their lives in order to protect members of the public. As members of Lincolnshire Police, throughout our careers it is highly likely that the RNLI will work along side Lincolnshire Police with stations along the coast such as Skegness. We hope to raise funds through charitable acts/events to support such a fantastic organisation.

Another charity that we are hoping to raise funds for is MS-UK, this charity is extremely close to our Chief Constable- Paul Gibson. MS-UK strive to provide support for people suffering with Multiple Sclerosis, ensuring information, guidance and practical support - MS-UK's agenda is strictly to ensure that anyone suffering, does not suffer alone.

Any donations to this fundraiser would be massively appreciated, as a Cohort, we aim to raise a total of £1000 and split it equally between the two charities. Both have a remarkable cause, supporting vulnerable people.
