Help us to keep serving coffee to our NHS heroes!

Since the devastation of CoronaVirus hit the UK, Change Please have put our resources into helping support our NHS heroes. We know now that more than ever we are all in this together and need to support our frontline workers who are risking their lives to save others. 

We began by serving free coffee to NHS staff at the NHS Nightingale EXCEL London, to help boost morale, provide some welcome fuel and refreshment for staff who are working relentlessly treating patients with COVID-19. We have now launched free coffee for NHS workers at Dragon's Heart Hospital in Cardiff and at NHS Nightingale North West in the heart of Manchester to support those working all across the UK. 

We may have passed the peak, but there is a long way to go yet and we want to ensure we support our NHS for as long as we can. With your support we can continue fund this initiative to support our NHS Heroes, rolling it out across the country and making life just that little bit more bearable for our key NHS workers at this very difficult time.

Natalie Forrest, NHS Nightingale London’s Chief Operating Officer spoke of the impact of people's donations providing free coffee for NHS workers:

Change Please is a social enterprise, which provides full barista training, jobs paying the London Living Wage and support for people experiencing homelessness. We continue to support people experiencing homelessness throughout this crisis and all our trainees and staff have been kept on during this difficult period. In doing so, we are able to help protect their mental health and financial independence. With our coffee shops and carts across the UK being closed due to the UK lockdown, we wanted to use our skills and resources to support staff working on the frontline fighting Coronavirus. 

We hope our coffee gives staff welcome respite and refreshment as a small gesture to thank them for their incredible efforts saving lives.
