Aim: Help us raise £30,000 to support our delivery of vital services that tackle social marginalisation and food insecurity across Bristol.
Who we are
We’re a non-profit cookery school and community kitchen based in the heart of Easton.
We believe that everyone should have spaces in which they can share food together, learn and teach skills and create strong connections with others.
We see food as the most simple and easy way to support each other in building a stronger, healthier and more joyful society.
Who we help
We work specifically with people who are accessing support services in our city. But our kitchen is open to everyone. We work with a huge amount of organisations in Bristol, here are just a few of our partners;
How we help
We run cookery classes and events as a way to bring people together, challenge isolation, support connections and create a space where people feel dignified and valued. Obviously, we learn, teach and share cookery skills but so much of it is about building resilience through sharing spaces, skills and laughter. The time in the kitchen provides an opportunity for people to share and learn, feel at home, have space to connect.
We also run events, provide catering services and hire out our space in order to support us in our social outreach work.
How you can help
This year, we're asking people to support us and our ongoing projects by helping us raise £20,000. Your donations are hugely appreciated and really help us make a difference. You can also support us by:
