We're still collecting donations
On the 28th April 2021 we'd raised £3,590 with 129 supporters in 83 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

The Cobblestones, based in a small working town called Bridgwater, opened as a live music venue in 2015 and has transformed from a pub with a function room to an established Grass Roots Music Venue recognised on the touring circuit both nationally and internationally.
The past 12 months, like for many in our sector, has been tough and despite the financial aid given by the government it isn’t enough to currently save the venue from potential closure. So we are reaching out to you! We want to provide the best entertainment possible and survive the current crisis that is tackling the music industry.
Music Venue Trust have created #SaveOurVenues merchandise including t-shirts, facemasks, snoods and more which can be chosen as a reward in exchange for a donation to our Crowdfunder.
During the last 12 months, Music Venue Trust and Crowdfunder have worked together to prevent the closure of hundreds of grassroots music venues. With no end to the crisis in sight, we are now refocusing that work to spotlight those venues under most imminent threat of permanent closure. The #SaveOurVenues Red List highlights the grassroots music venues at most risk.
Right now.
We’ve checked all the available funding, financial support, furlough schemes, business support for these venues, and what is on offer is not enough to prevent them being lost. These venues are on the Critical List and need your help.
These grassroots venues play a crucial role in the development of British music, nurturing local talent, providing a platform for artists to build their careers and develop their music and their performance skills. These venues also play a vital role in the cultural and economic vibrancy of any village, town or city.
