At Clwyd Special Riding Centre we positively change the lives of all those who cross our threshold and interact with our amazing horses.
Despite tireless efforts by our wonderful team, we very sadly find ourselves having to launch this emergency fundraising campaign. Today we share with you a message that is both honest and URGENT.
At Clwyd Special Riding Centre our mission is to provide life-changing equine-assisted therapy, education and inspirational experiences that champion inclusion and promote physical, emotional and social well-being for individuals, families and our volunteers and staff.
Over the years, we have witnessed this magical place's incredible impact: lives changed, confidence built, healing begun — all under the banner of what we proudly stand for as a charity.
Please help us to continue impacting lives in this truly special way by donating today and sharing our plea as far and wide as possible. Put simply, we are inviting you to be part of securing our future.
This is an 'All or Nothing' Appeal.
If we do not reach our target of £365,000 by the extended deadline of Friday 23 May (originally 1 May, but extended thanks to a crucial lifeline), the Centre will be forced to close—and Crowdfunder will refund your donation.
We want to be transparent: your money will not disappear into a “black hole.” If we don’t reach the target, the Centre will close, and you will receive your donation back.
This is truly a now or never moment.
The Centre is now at a critical crossroads.
If we can secure real, immediate donations then we can develop and progress our plan for the future. A robust, responsible plan to stabilise, grow and thrive.
We understand that this call for action may feel sudden. The truth is, we have worked tirelessly behind the scenes. We have tried every option. We have been hopeful. We have been creative. We have been determined. And even in the face of increasing challenges, we have wanted — above all — to protect this place and the people it serves.
Only now, when the reality is this stark, have we felt the time was right to share our position publicly. Not with despair, but with a final, determined push — with transparency and with hope.
