Aim
A new clubhouse water system for Newport IW Golf Club, safe drinking water and reliable pressurised supply for all facilities.
Who are we?
Newport IW Golf Club is a long-standing, volunteer-supported golf club at the heart of the local community. We welcome members, visitors, societies, and community groups, offering not just golf but a social hub where people come together.
Our clubhouse is central to that experience, a place to meet, eat, relax, and enjoy the club all year round.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Our current clubhouse water system is outdated and no longer fit for purpose. It struggles to provide safe, reliable, pressurised water to all facilities, impacting toilets, kitchens, showers, and general day-to-day use.
Replacing this system is essential but costly. As a community-run club, we are turning to crowdfunding to help us secure the future of our clubhouse and keep it safe, comfortable, and welcoming for everyone.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Every pound raised will go directly toward:
Installing a modern, safe, and pressurised water system
Improving water reliability across all clubhouse facilities
Ensuring compliance with current health and safety standards
Reducing breakdowns, maintenance issues, and long-term costs
This is a practical, necessary upgrade that will benefit everyone who uses the clubhouse.
