"Clout" is a gripping coming-of-age drama that delves into the darker side of social media through the story of Oskar, an alienated teenager desperate for online validation. Inspired by classics such as "The Secret History" and "Stand By Me," the film delivers a powerful cautionary tale that prompts audiences to reevaluate their relationship with technology and social platforms.
Join Us in Spreading Awareness of the Dangers Social Media Poses to Today's Youth
"The big tech companies are exploiting human vulnerabilities through sophisticated psychological tricks to keep us hooked." - The Guardian
"Social media platforms are the tobacco industry of our time." - The New York Times
"We're raising a generation of digital addicts, and it's time we face the consequences." - The Washington Post
"The smartphone has become a digital pacifier, numbing us to the world around us." - The Wall Street Journal
Too many of our peers, especially the younger generation, are facing psychological and sometimes physical consequences from the pervasive digital world. It's time for change.
This poignant vision is brought to life by an experienced team of filmmakers and creatives. Our mission is clear: to change our social landscape.
“In an age where social media's influence seems to grow unchecked, particularly among our youth, we felt compelled to shine a light on the shadows it casts on our collective future.
This film serves as a reminder of the importance of staying connected to the physical world and the people around us, urging viewers to seek genuine human connections rather than becoming entrapped by the allure of virtual validation.” - Jordan Murphy Doidge [Director]
With your support, we can create a powerful voice that sparks change. "Clout" is more than just a film; it's a catalyst for conversations across generations about seeking balance and finding meaningful connections in our digital world.
Contributions will be allocated to complete the film's production and to launch a charity driven campaign centered around the film.
