I'm raising money for Flamingo Chicks to help provide even more inclusive, joyful dance sessions for children with disabilities and without.
As you probably know, for the last year I've been suffering from a neurological illness called FND (Functional Neurological Disorder). This has massively impacted my health and ability to keep active (you can read more about my experience of this illness on LinkedIn here.) I've experienced first hand how important it is to have opportunities for activities that are truly inclusive - exercise is never more important than when you already have health issues, but it's also never harder to do.
Which is why I love Flamingo Chicks more than ever!
Thankfully, my health is finally starting to improve and I'm hoping to climb Arthur's Seat in my home town to Edinburgh to raise money for the Chicks. Anyone who has seen me walk recently will know that this is a massive challenge! But it's one I am determined to complete. Please support me to encourage me to make it to the top on 28th May* with whatever you can afford. I've know Flamingo Chicks for years and I know that they don't waste a penny. Your donation will help even more children to experience the joy of dance, whatever their abilities.
