Our aim is to overthrow this rotten system plunging society and humanity into barbarism, and to fight to build a Communist society!

by James Baird in Keswick, , United Kingdom

Support the Books Not Bombs campaign for anti-imperialist education by sponsoring our ascent of Skiddaw -  at 3,054 feet, the fourth highest mountain in England.

The genocide in Gaza, the barbaric bombing of civilians in Lebanon and the slaughter on the battlefields of Ukraine, Sudan and around the world – all this violence will only end with the end of capitalist imperialism and the brutal rivalries of the ruling class. Young people especially want to build a new world of peace on a new system which provides for all human needs rather than pandering to the private greed of a tiny elite.

We are Communists and we are climbing Skiddaw on November 7th to celebrate the 107th Anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution which created the world's first Workers' state. We are also marking the 145th anniversary of the birth of Leon Trotsky, who fought, and died, opposing the tyranny of the Stalinist bureaucracy, which betrayed the revolutionary legacy of 1917.

The Revolution Festival in London from 15th to 17th November is the largest event of revolutionary education in the UK and is a centrepiece of the Revolutionary Communist Party's Books Not Bombs campaign.
