We work to widen access for young people from ethnic minorities and low income backgrounds to participate in the Green Economy.
We work to widen access for young people from ethnic minorities and low income backgrounds to participate in the Green Economy by teaching them about climate literacy, green skills and green jobs.
This programme has been running in 2 separate countries. We have run pilots in the UK and have translated materias in Spanish to run it in Bolivia.
We would like to raise funds to build a team of facilitators to run workshops in both countries. We also want to launch this programme in other English and Spanish speaking countries as well.
With your support, only with £30 you can provide education for 2 students one in Uk and one in Bolivia. With £90 you can provide education for 6 students 3 in Uk and 3 in Bolivia. And with £400 you can enable an entire class of 15 students in both countries to be upskilled and taken through this programme.
Your money will help Climate Minded grow, not only reach more students in two different continents but train trainers that will also spread the impact.
Please help us make young people thrive and be part of a greener and brighter future!

I used to run a centre that raises awareness on climate change in Edinburgh for 3 years. I am climate literate and I used to work on economic development for many years. This is a project built with passion, commitment and care. It’s very close to my heart.

The climate literacy phase is a course certified by the carbon literacy project that covers all you need to know about climate change and its impacts. By the end of this course students come away with a certificate.
The green skills phase provides a variety of hands-on workshops on sustainable practices such as food growing, sustainable cooking, bikeability and upcycling. ..
The third phase is the green jobs phase where we deliver inspiring talks to open up student minds into considering this sector as a potential future career. This phase is also linked to career advice, work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.
In future, we would like to translate the climate literacy certification into UCAS Tariff points.
