We will create an intergenerational community-focused dance company in West Dunbartonshire.

Clifftop Projects is a Community Interest Company (meaning we are not for profit). We are passionate about creating opportunities to access the arts and connecting people of all ages and abilities across West Dunbartonshire.
With your help we will launch an intergenerational dance company in 2021 that has the community of West Dunbartonshire at its heart. It is a group that will be open for all ages and abilities to come together twice a month to dance and create pieces for performance. Up to 30 participants will work with Artistic Director, Lottie Barker, as well as guest teachers from some of Scotland's leading dance and theatre companies including Scottish Dance Theatre, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and more.
We need to raise £5000 through Crowdfunder in order to run these sessions throughout 2021. Your funds will pay for 24 sessions, travel bursaries and BSL interpretation.
The additional costs for the sessions will be funded by the £5 fee we will charge participants per class (but bursary places will be available for any people for whom finance is a barrier).

I am a dance producer and creative arts facilitator based in the West of Scotland. I started Clifftop Projects in April 2020 to engage with my local community in West Dunbartonshire and improve accessibility to the arts. I’ve danced my whole life with both my mum and grandma being dance teachers and began assisting with teaching at an early age. I have since completed my Teaching Training with the British Ballet Organisation and had a varied career in the arts working with organisations including Arts 4 Dementia, the British Ballet Organisation, Dance House Glasgow, Joan Cleville Dance, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Scottish Ballet and Scottish Dance Theatre. I enjoy ensuring that dance can be accessible for all individuals and am passionate about working with those with barriers or perceived barriers to participation.
