Raise money for Green’s Windmill Trust (charity No. 1163116) by buying a piece of windmill that has been removed. We have 44 available. All proceeds will help support Green’s Windmill Trust to keep the site open for the enjoyment of all.
After almost 40 years of successful milling since its 1980s restoration Green’s Windmill needs significant maintenance work to bring it back to full working order. As repair work began in November the sail stocks were removed, along with the oak clamps.
These clamps will be replaced so have been cut up into 44 pieces, each measuring approximately 25cm x 20cm x 20cm. And now you can own a piece! These are available to buy for £25 each. Remember to select the reward below before donating!
Apart from added Green’s Windmill stamp and logo each piece is unique; some are almost pristine while others have characteristic marks and cracks.
