This term we are at risk of disappointing the hopes of 30 disadvantaged young people because we don’t have the funds to support them.
Demand for places on our programme has increased by 89% and has outstripped the resources available. But we never turn young people away.
As Michaela says, at City Gateway we actually care about every young person we work with.
Each year we help almost 300 young people, who have faced social and economic disadvantage, to get the essential qualifications, skills and experience they need to obtain employment.
Last year, 82% of our young people progressed into a job, apprenticeship, or further training.
City Gateway might make the difference between these 30 young people moving into a positive future or spiralling into worklessness, poverty and even crime.
That’s why, we need your help.
We urgently need funding to keep these 30 young people on our Route to Employment study programme, so we can support them to turn their lives around.
It costs £2,528 for each young person on our programme.
We need to raise £75,840 to keep these 30 young people on our programme right now.
Could you or your organisation sponsor a young person?
Or could you donate £250 towards funding a young person who wants to change their future?
Or perhaps £25, one pound for every year we’ve been assisting young people who just need someone to believe in them and support them to achieve their potential.
Please help these 30 young people today.
