Aim

Help France's best export become a British Citizen in 2026

As many of you are aware, our beloved Muriel turns 70 in March. She has decided that she doesn't want any presents for her 70th birthday, but what she would like most of all is to become a British Citizen. 

Muriel has contributed massively to our swimming community in the past decade, from offering free qigong on the beach during the pandemic, to literally keeping us all alive with her phenomenal shiatsu and acupuncture sessions. She's been very generous of heart with us all over the years, so now it's time to give her something back. 

Cost

The cost of this is prohibitive at £1842 including the passport application. That's where we come in as her community. I am not expecting that we raise the whole amount, but that we create a basis from which Muriel can fundraise for herself on top of the amount that we get together for her. She is planning to offer reduced price shiatsu and acupuncture to reach her total.
