Aim
Since November 2000 the town of Kirkcaldy has had no cinema so now we have a venue and want to bring the screen back for all ages.
For nearly a quarter of a century Kirkcaldy has been without
a cinema of its own.
Now here at the Kings Live Lounge we want to give the people of the town their own independent cinema with plans to play a wide variety of films, for both adults and children.
The Kings Live Lounge is a vibrant arts centre situated on the Esplanade on the Lang Toun’s waterfront which already boasts a wide variety of live events including live bands, comedy, cabaret and the hugely popular pantomime which featured Kirkcaldy panto legend, Billy Mack. The Live Lounge and bar are also available to rent for members of the local community for their own events.
Now we want to add a cinema to our list! To make our silver screen dream a reality we need your help so we’re asking for a donation to get us to our goal of £5000
