Aim: Improving and opening up Churt Pavilion to the local community and residents ensuring inclusivity and engagement for years to come.

🏡 The Churt Pavilion Modernisation Project – Let’s Build It Together!

Exciting changes are coming to the heart of our village! Churt & Hindhead Cricket Club, Churt Juniors Football Club, and Churt Parish Council are working together to extend and modernise the Pavilion – creating a more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable space for everyone in our community.

🌟 What’s Planned?

🛋 A larger, brighter communal space with commercial kitchen quality facilities for village and social events

🔨 A small rear extension and garage conversion to create dedicated female changing rooms

🔨 Improved accessibility, including a new side entrance and front bi-fold doors

☀️ Solar energy and EV installations for a greener future and reduced running costs

🏠 A new dedicated equipment shed to support club and maintenance needs

📦 New secure storage for sports and grounds equipment

🔨 Improved outdoor space for social gatherings and events 

From the village green, the look will remain familiar – but inside and behind, it will be a whole new Pavilion ready to serve our teams and our community for decades to come.

💰 What Will It Cost?

The total project is expected to cost £230,000 and our two associated sports clubs have pledged £25,000 already. We expect grants to help significantly, but we also need to show strong community support through local fundraising and participation. 

This summer, we will be running events and inviting everyone to get involved – whether by donating, attending events and spreading the word.
