Donate to Scottish CND to help publicise our Faslane demonstration and ensure it is fully accessible to all supporters!
Over the past year, nuclear militarism has become increasingly promoted by our political class, with the huge costs and risks of this programme downplayed and obscured. Scottish CND having been working hard trying to build the movement opposing this misguided thinking, and calling for peace over war.
Last year, Scottish CND supporters raised over £1000 to contribute towards our major 2025 peace conference, which took place on 1st of November in Glasgow.
We aim to build on the success of the conference by mobilising for a national demonstration at Faslane on Saturday 14th of March 2026. This will be our opportunity to take a stand against nuclear weapons in Scotland before the May 2026 election, and show politicians running for elected office in Holyrood that the people of Scotland object to the omnicide weapons on our coasts.
The money raised by this year’s festive fundraiser will go towards helping publicise the demonstration and make it as accessible as possible for our supporters.
The festive season is a time when we can truly appreciate the value of peace - a time of celebration enjoyed with friends and family. This celebration of peace is worth standing up for in a world where peace and joy are continually threatened by the nuclear scourge and militaristic thinking.
