Christmas Meal Gift 2026

Aim

This Christmas, we’re asking our community to help us raise £8,000 for the Letham4All Christmas Meal Gift.

The Christmas Meal Gift is a community initiative designed to ease some of the financial pressure families face over the festive period.

Rather than providing everyone with the same Christmas meal, we provide supermarket food vouchers worth £7.50 per person.

This gives families the freedom to choose food that is right for them, including culturally appropriate food and items suitable for allergies or individual dietary requirements.

Alongside the food vouchers, families also receive fresh fruit and Christmas Treat Bags, with additional gifts provided for children.

For some households, the support goes beyond Christmas Day. One family told us: “The vouchers were a real bonus and helped us beyond the big day”. Another said: “The Christmas Meal Gift helped us more than you can ever begin to imagine”.

What we achieved last Christmas

In 2025, the Christmas Meal Gift supported:

• 134 households
• 213 adults
• 315 children

We were also able to support a further 18 young people in the community with freshly cooked Christmas dinners, fruit and Christmas Treat Bags.

This happened because local people, businesses, organisations and volunteers came together to make it possible.

What will your donation do?

Every donation will help us provide practical support to local families this Christmas.

A donation of £7.50 can help provide a supermarket food voucher for one person.

£15 can provide vouchers for two people.

£30 can provide vouchers for four people.

£75 can provide vouchers for ten people.

You can give whatever you can afford. Every contribution takes us closer to our target.

Help us reach £8,000

Our goal for the Christmas Meal Gift 2026 is to raise £8,000. Christmas can put additional pressure on household budgets, particularly for families already managing rising everyday costs.

By coming together as a community, we can help take away some of that pressure and give families greater freedom to enjoy Christmas in the way that is right for them.
