The Cause
Epilepsy affects 1 in every 100 people in the UK and 87 people are diagnosed with this condition every day. Each year, Epilepsy Action directly helps around 2 million people and over 95% of the support provided is funded by donations and fundraising.
People with epilepsy can spend a life time trying to understand and manage their conditions, experiencing regular seizures, and trying to control of their illness with the right medication.
Epilepsy not only affects an individuals life, but their family and friends too. So it's important for us to raise awareness of this condition.
