Christmas fundraiser, donate for a chance to win original artwork
Solidarity is a Verb fundraiser.
Faiz Abubakr, Hafifa Ahmed, Hamza Ashraf, Finn Dobson, Seanna Doonan, Omer Elnour, Saba Siddiqui have generously donated artworks for a fundraising exhibition in support of Medical Aid for Palestinians, Leeds Asylum Seekers’ Support Network and UN Crisis Relief Fund for Sudan.
We'll update the page with photos of the artworks in the show.
How does it work
Every £5 donated will get you a ticket. The more you donate the more are the chances to win an original artwork.
We wish winners to take away the artworks on the day. IMPORTANT: 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭.
People in the UK can donate and we will ship the work, we can't send the artworks outside of the country, so come visit us or ask a friend to bring it over :).
We will withdraw the money raised and make 3 even donations to:

The Draw Night
The 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟖 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 6.30-10pm at the Hyde Park Book club, 27-29 Headingley Lane, Leeds LS6 1BL England.
There will be an conversation with the curator Saba Siddiqui and some of the artists, poetry readings, a talk by LASSN, a performance by Commoners Choir and the number draw.
