My name is Jaz and I have just returned from my 4th trip to Ukraine as a medic and aid volunteer. 

I have met some amazing people who stayed behind to look after other people & animals whose family felt they had no choice but to abandon them due to the war. 

Kharkiv is being shelled constantly, there is no power or electricity, as I left temperatures were reaching  - 12° 

Kharkiv can get down to as low as  -30° 

My friends and fellow volunteers are still on the ground distributing aid to the areas just free from Russian occupation but still heavily mined. 

What is now desperately needed in the East of Ukraine is food/aid/medical supplies actually being purchased there. Lorry's are finally getting to the shops in the East but Ukrainians have little or no funds to purchase items. If they are not sold, more items can not be bought in creating a very big impact on an already broken economy. 

Please donate even a pound, believe me it goes such a long way in Ukraine.
