For over 30 years, St John’s Smith Square has hosted an annual Christmas Festival celebrating the season with an array of musical delights. Last year, we were forced to move concerts online and to make a number of cancellations due to the pandemic, and so we were greatly looking forward to reuniting with you our loyal supporters and audiences for this year’s 36th Christmas Festival.
Unfortunately, as we move through this next wave of the pandemic, we’re experiencing reduced audiences and income, which is compounding the challenges we have faced as a venue over the past two years. It’s so cruel to face these challenges again, just at the point we hoped to recover some of what was lost and to bring back the experiences for which we all know and love St John’s.
