Aim: Help Bournemouth Foodbank provide food and support to local families in crisis this Christmas.

At Bournemouth Foodbank, we believe that no one should go hungry, especially during the festive season. Sadly, with the cost of living crisis continuing, many families in our community are struggling to make ends meet. Since April alone, we’ve provided over 49,000 meals, with nearly 11,000 of those going to children. The demand for our services is at an all-time high, and we need your help to ensure we can continue to support everyone in need this Christmas.

This Crowdfunder will raise crucial funds to provide food parcels filled with essential items, helping local families enjoy a nutritious meal during the holidays. Beyond food, we also need unrestricted funds to keep our operations running smoothly—covering everything from warehousing to distribution, ensuring your donations make the biggest impact possible.

How We’ll Use the Money:

Your generous contributions will go towards two main areas:

Food supplies: We'll stock up on non-perishable items, fresh produce, and festive treats to make sure everyone who turns to us can enjoy a meal over Christmas.

Operational support: Every food parcel requires more than just food. We’ll use unrestricted funds to keep our warehouse running, pay for transportation, and cover essential costs that allow us to deliver food to those in need.

Why This Matters:

Christmas is a time of giving, but for many families, it can also be a time of worry. With more people turning to us for help, we need to ensure we have the resources to meet the rising demand. Foodbanks shouldn’t have to exist, but while they do, we need to ensure they’re well-equipped to support those in crisis.
