Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to Cornwall Wildlife Trusts (CWT) Christmas Cracker Prize Draw.
It is your responsibility to read these terms and conditions before entering into this prize draw. CWT is a charity. All income raised from this prize draw will go directly to CWT.
Entering the Prize Draw:
- Participation in this prize draw is through Crowdfunder at a cost of £3 per prize draw entry or discounted entry for bulk entries. Users can enter as many times as they like. The receipt from Crowdfunder is the acknowledgement that the prize draw has been entered; however, you will not receive a ticket from CWT.
- Prize draw entries are not to be sold to, sold by, or bought on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age. Any entry bought by or on behalf of somebody under the age of 18 will be rejected from the draw.
- The prize draw is open to mainland Great Britain only (Wales, Scotland and England) and excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
- Employees from the Fundraising and Communications Team at Cornwall Wildlife Trust may not enter.
- To enter for free, please send a postcard with your full name, address, email and phone number to FAO Community Team, Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Five Acres, Allet, Truro, Cornwall, TR4 9DJ. Please state that you wish to enter the prize draw. One postcard per entry, we will only accept one postcard per envelope. Personal and hand delivered entries will not be accepted. Entries which have not been given the correct and sufficient payment for postage will be invalid and not be considered. Entries by post must be received at the address specified by the official closing of the prize draw date. If they are received later than the specified closing date, then we regret that these entries cannot be accepted.
- Payment for participation in the prize draw is through Crowdfunder only. No other form of payment can be accepted.
- CWT accepts no responsibility for prize draw entries which are lost or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
- CWT accepts no responsibility if the chosen method of payment is cancelled in error.
- CWT reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
- CWT reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
- Please note that prizes will only be released if we hit our target of £1,500. If this target is not achieved by 9am on Friday 15th December 2023 your money will be refunded and no prizes will be released.
Prize Details:
- The Prize Draw runs from 9am on Wednesday 6th December 2023 and closes at 9am on Friday 15th December 2023. The names of the winners to the prize draw will be drawn from the supporter’s details data provided by Crowdfunder on Friday 15th December 2023.
- Paid entries to the Prize Draw are through the fundraising platform Crowdfunder.
- Prize draw entries received by postcard will be manually entered into Crowdfunder’s supporter’s details database.
- The prize winners will be randomly selected on the draw date. The first entry drawn will win the first prize listed, the second entry drawn will win the second prize listed, and this will continue until all the prizes have been won.
- The result of the prize draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into about the prize draw process and results.
- Prizes may not be swapped for any other item or experience deviating from what is already listed, nor for any money.
- Winners’ names will be published on Crowdfunder website no later than 7 days of the draw taking place. If you do not wish to have your name published on Crowdfunder website please choose the privacy option when entering the draw through Crowdfunder.
- Winners will be notified by CWT by email no later than 3 weeks after the draw date. Winners will be given instructions on how to claim their prize in the same email. Prizes will be delivered by the end of February 2024 or later as agreed between the prize winner and the supplier.
- If no contact is made by the winner with the prize supplier within two weeks of the winning email being sent the prize may be forfeit and a runner up will be chosen.
- Prizes are subject to the prize suppliers’ terms and conditions, and any complaints or queries relating to the condition or use of the prize should be directed to the relevant supplier of the prize.

- Where a prize needs to be posted, shipping will only be provided to mainland UK.
Looe Island T&Cs:
- A date will be discussed with the winner, which will either be in April 2024 or September 2024.

Beaver Walk T&Cs:
- For a walk in Spring / Summer 2024 to be arranged with the winner.
Being a Ranger T&Cs:
- For 2-4 people depending on the rangers the date and the rangers terms. All must be over 18.
Lower Marsh Farm T&Cs:
- For a 2 night stay in a yurt (sleeps up to 2 people) at Lower Marsh Farm.

Wild Skills T&Cs:
- Date will need to be agreed with Survive and Revive.
- Skills days are suitable for people 14+ but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
