Aim

Christmas is a time for community and kindness. And we don't want any family to go without.

The Cottage Family Centre turns life challenges into life changes.

Established in 1987, we work in both the East and West areas of Kirkcaldy. 

The Cottage provides support to vulnerable families who face issues including poverty, unemployment, poor housing, relationship breakdown, drug and alcohol problems and ill-health. 

We increase the life chances and quality of lifestyle of those children and families most at need. 

In the last year, through projects and programmes, The Cottage supported around 3000 children and families. 

Additionally, since April this year, The Cottage delivered 17,100 lunches to vulnerable children in the area and 2,762 food packages to support households for a week.

We believe no family should go without, especially at Christmas. So each year we fundraise to ensure families in the Kirkcaldy area can enjoy a Christmas meal, have toys for the kids to open, food for up to 10 days and fuel to keep warm.
