The debut choral album of Edmund Jolliffe, sung by The Nonsuch Singers.
A New Choral Voice, Waiting to Be Heard
Choral Reflections is a brand-new album of choral works by award-winning composer Edmund Jolliffe, recorded by the outstanding Nonsuch Singers, conducted by Tom Bullard (formerly of The Swingle Singers).
Many of these pieces have never been recorded before. With your help, they will finally reach new listeners, choirs, and communities worldwide.
Why This Album Matters
For listeners: it offers fresh repertoire, recorded to the highest professional standard.
For choirs: it provides accessible, inspiring new works with high-quality recordings that make them easier to discover and perform.
For music itself: it ensures that contemporary choral music isn’t just written — it’s heard, sung, and celebrated.
I’ve had the joy of writing for television (including The Traitors and Sort Your Life Out), but my heart is always drawn back to choirs. This album is the culmination of years of writing for choirs across the UK and beyond.
What We’re Creating
A professionally recorded album of original choral works, many of them competition winners.
A collaboration with Convivium Records, ensuring excellent production and worldwide release.
A launch concert to celebrate the release and bring the music to life.
Why We Need You
Creating a professional choral album is a major undertaking. Our total budget is £15,000+, covering:
Venue hire & recording sessions
Singers, conductor, and supporting musicians
Editing, mixing, mastering
Filming live video performances
Artwork, design & promotion
We’ve already received generous support from the PRS Composers’ Fund, but to bring this project home, we need to raise at least £5,000 from this campaign.
Every pound pledged goes directly into making the music possible.
Rewards for Your Generosity
We want to thank you in a way that feels meaningful. Whether you give a little or a lot, you’ll be part of our musical journey.
