Who are we?
Chiswick CC is a community sports club in Chiswick (with Gift Aid registration) that provides 6 men's XIs on a Saturday, 2 on a Sunday, a women's team and a junior section. We have operated in Chiswick since 1853 (through Turnham Green CC) and provided a strong community presence to the local area.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Chiswick CC is entirely funded via subscriptions from members, ancillary activities (such as its fully licensed bar and kitchen - The Duck & Ball) and donations. As a community cricket club, the constant investment into the facilities, equipment and buildings remains a challenge. We are seeking extra funding to assist in a major re-development of Chiswick House and Grounds cricket pitch, which will provide Chiswick CC with additional facilities to support the growth of the club.
If you're applying for extra funding, this is a good place to demonstrate why your project is eligible so refer back to the criteria to help complete this section

How we’ll spend the money raised
The Chiswick House cricket redevelopment is a substantive project brining their pitch up to the required standards. It is nearly there but needs one more push!
- so far, there is ~£105,000 secured funding
- the project is the new square, NTP and two-lane practice facility
- total project cost will be £115k to £117k depending on final costs including contingency allowance
- therefore, we need to raise ~£10,000...
- if successful with our bid, we expect that Sport England will match what we raise.
Community impact
This will provide a first class (and beautiful!) facility to the community and Chiswick CC senior and junior playing members, community access nets and set up the ground for the decades to come.
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
