Childrens Covid Vaccine Story Book

Aim

To raise money to get 1000 books printed/made.

My name is Serena and I am a Paramedic. I have spent much of my time this past year giving Covid injections. 

Having already started vaccinating 12-16 year olds, Pfizer have now approved their vaccine for 5-11 year olds too.

The “rollout” for this is imminent, starting with those children either medically vulnerable themselves or who live with family members who are.

Being a mother of a 7 year old little girl, I decided to write a short story book designed to explain the vaccination and ease their worries of having an injection as I know it is a frightening experience. I would really like to help as many children as possible. 

The book is 12 pages long. It is a rhyming story with plenty of humour that explains the process from start to finish with 3 loveable characters I hope will engage the children and parents too!

I have set up this crowd funder page to raise the funds to have an initial print run of 1000 books done.

It would be great to get as many of these books out there for children to access and read before their vaccinations in places like Doctors surgeries, Hospitals, Vaccine Centres, Schools and Libraries.
