Aim
To support refugee and asylum seeker children. Education, language, respite, welfare
Here at Wigan Islamic Education Cultural Society, we aim to empower refugee and asylum-seeking children by providing a dedicated space for Arabic and Islamic education. We offer essential English language support. With a community where they can make friendship with other children who share their culture and values.
Education & Skills Support: Funding towards educational resources such as necessary stationary for school and homework. After-school English and Math tutoring.
Welfare: Funding towards Residential days out. Community activities.
Social Cohesion: Funding towards upkeep of facilities and to hire venue to allow children to meet and be among peers thar share same values and cultural identity.
