Sponsored Silence for Child Brain Injury Trust

Aim

Helping CBIT raise an incredible £150,000 to provide more impacted families nationwide with a vital additional 5000 hours of support.

The Child Brain Injury Trust is the leading voluntary sector organisation providing emotional and practical support, information and learning opportunities for families and professionals affected by childhood acquired brain injury across the UK.

We are thrilled to share that 18 St John Street Chambers will be contributing to CBIT's largest ever campaign during the start of 2024 – their 'Every child, every family' appeal. 

In order to raise these important contributions for families impacted nationwide by brain damage diagnoses, our loudest and proudest Clerk - Chris Heath -  will be engaging in a Sponsored Silence on Friday February 9th. 

If you know Chris, then you know what a challenge this will be - a whole working day in Chambers doing everything possible to not make one sound! But the cause is fittingly deserving, and Chris is a well established supporter of CBIT, regularly attending their annual CBIT Games and Charity Dinners. 

This campaign aims to raise an incredible £150,000 to help us support more families nationwide. Achieving this campaign target will mean CBIT can provide a vital additional 5000 hours of support to families affected by childhood acquired brain injury.
