Hi, I’m Emma, the founder of Cherry Tree Lounge.

Cherry Tree Lounge is more than just a business idea. It’s a vision I’ve carefully created, a calm, elegant space designed to bring people together and offer a true escape from the busy pace of everyday life.

Inspired by traditional British tea culture and the delicate beauty of cherry blossom, Cherry Tree Lounge will be a place where time slows down. A place filled with soft pastel tones, warm lighting, and thoughtful details that create a sense of comfort, nostalgia, and quiet luxury.

The Vision

Cherry Tree Lounge is designed to feel timeless.

From blush pinks and soft sage greens to vintage-inspired seating and floral textures, every element has been chosen to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The space will feature comfortable, elegant seating designed for long conversations, soft lighting to create a cosy glow, and carefully styled interiors that feel both classic and refined.

A key feature of the lounge will be a nostalgic gallery wall, showcasing framed imagery and storytelling pieces inspired by past decades. This will add depth, character, and a sense of connection, making the space feel meaningful as well as beautiful.

This isn’t just somewhere to visit, it’s somewhere to experience.

The Experience

Cherry Tree Lounge will offer a traditional afternoon tea experience with a refined, modern touch.

Guests will enjoy:

• Freshly prepared finger sandwiches

• Warm scones served with jam and clotted cream

• A selection of handmade cakes and sweet treats

• A variety of speciality teas

Everything will be presented with care and attention to detail, creating a relaxed yet elegant experience that feels special from the moment you walk in.

A Personal Note

This journey hasn’t been straightforward.

Over the past year, I’ve taken real steps towards opening Cherry Tree Lounge, including exploring funding opportunities and even having early conversations about securing a physical location. Those moments made the dream feel incredibly close.

However, due to unexpected financial setbacks and ongoing health challenges, I’ve had to pause and take a step back. I’m currently awaiting major surgery, which means my timeline has shifted, but not my vision.

If anything, this experience has made me even more determined to build something meaningful. Cherry Tree Lounge represents a fresh start for me, a future I’m working towards with hope, resilience, and passion.

My goal is to open the doors by early 2027, creating not just a business, but a new chapter in life.
