Win an experience like no other at Edinburgh Zoo!
We are offering you the chance to meet Cleo, the cheetah, up close as well as your favourite zoo animals.
Can you imagine being so close to a cheetah that you can hear her purring? You’ll be entranced by the curiosity and playfulness of these beautiful animals.
Spending time with a cheetah will also help you appreciate how powerful they are! Did you know, cheetahs can reach the speed of 60 miles an hour in three seconds? Or that each animal has its own unique pattern of spots?
You’ll gain a fascinating insight into everything that makes cheetahs so special from their dedicated keeper and it will be enthralling to watch Cleo exploring her new home.
This prize is suitable for a family of four, or group of four people aged 16 and over. Very young children under the age of 8 may not be able to participate in some animal feeding activities.

Imagine yourself and your loved ones being greeted at the entrance to Edinburgh Zoo by Chief Executive David Field who can take you behind the scenes of your zoo.
With David to guide you, you’ll have a unique opportunity to start your experience by meeting our new cheetah. After spending all the time you want with this magnificent cat, you can then meet your favourite animals and even give them some special treats on your way around the zoo.
You could talk to the tigers, sing to the sloths or get up close to the giraffes!
Which animals will you choose?
If you love big cats, you could choose to meet tigers, lions and wildcats. Or the adorable koalas, sloths and lemurs? Perhaps you’d prefer the rhino, penguins or giraffes, or our family of playful otters? You can select up to 4 additional animals to meet as part of this incredible prize.
