Who are we?
Cheadle Hulme Cricket Club has been at the heart of the local community for over 130 years. The club runs five senior teams and a thriving junior section with girls and boys teams ranging from U9's through to U15's.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We need to raise funds to purchase a new electric wicket mower which will replace old equipment that is coming to the end of its working life and no longer performing to a high standard. The Cobra Fortis 25FTE electric lawnmower, along with the scarifier, brush, verticutter, and aerator spiker cartridges, represents the most effective solution available. The versatility and efficiency of this equipment will allow our groundskeeping team to perform essential maintenance tasks with greater precision and less effort, ensuring that our pitches remain in top condition throughout the season. The switch to using electric rather than fuel based machinery is something the committee is keen to progress with aligned with reducing our impact on the environment and also reducing our ongoing running costs.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money raised will go towards the purchase of a Cobra Fortis 25FTE electric lawnmower and associated cartridges so our grounds team can continue to produce quality wickets for all our members.
