Charity Stream!!

So I was planning on doing a 24 hour charity stream for my birthday this month but I’ve thought about it a lot recently and I’ve come to the decision not to do it as I planned. The way I’m going to do it is by doing 24 hours throughout August and make it a charity month 

The charity I have chosen is NHS charities together, this is a charity that is massively close to my heart due to the help my family have received within the past few years. We all have losses and it’s absolutely awful for us but we don’t stop to think about the doctors and nurses who also went through the ordeal behind the closed doors as ‘it’s their job’ but it still hurts, they still take things home and they still have feelings. NHS charities together aims to help the staff with meals, a place to get their head down when they can’t go home due to having vulnerable people living at home and not being able to risk them catching covid-19, it helps get electronic tablets so patients and staff can still speak to family members at home, it helps for staff to be able to speak to a professional and get help for the things they see on a daily basis. 

This past 12+ months has been absolutely crazy for everyone with the pandemic hitting and now finally things are starting to come back to normal but we’re still a long way from normal. Hopefully we can pull together and help things move much more comfortably in the hospital setting and help everyone come back together as one
