Aim
Virgin Atlantic (The Virgin Foundation) and easyJet are hoping to raise money to support the people in the Ukraine war.
At Virgin Atlantic, we are devastated to see the escalation of conflict in Ukraine and we want to do what we can to support the people caught up in this crisis by supporting UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, through their charity partner UK for UNHCR.
We have decided to put on a football match against another airline (easyJet) to contribute to the amazing work already done by UK for UNHCR and The Virgin Foundation. All we ask is you turn up to support your airline, donate and have fun.
The game will be free of charge but we would appreciate a minimum donation of £10 donation either on here or on the day.
The match will start at 3pm on Sunday 3rd of April, with doors opening at 2pm. NICE Drinks are kindly offering free NICE Wine to attendees (limited numbers and will be a first come first serve basis). Please come down to support the match, all donations are greatly appreciated and will make a huge difference to those in Ukraine.
