We need your urgent help to save our charity.
Change of Scene has been providing outdoor learning to children and young people aged 7-25 years on our idyllic 14-acre farm for over 16 years. We work with children from Surrey and Hampshire with special educational needs.
We offer life-saving support for vulnerable young people but now our farm and charity face closure unless we can a) relocate and b) raise significant funds to support the move.
The deadline for leaving our current site is June 2026 and we have been looking for a new site for our farm for over four years. After several near misses, a local landowner has offered what we hope is our forever home. Close to our current site, the land is quiet, secluded and private; a haven for vulnerable young people. We are in the process of making sure the land is suitable for our needs and have everything crossed that it is.
How you can help:
So, though our first problem, finding land, looks to be solved, our second remains: we need money to move.
We estimate it will cost around £300,000 for a building, animal housing, fencing etc. We keep everything our Crowdfunder raises and we need all the donations you can give, so please, if you can, help save Change of Scene
Without funds, we will have to close. This will mean the end of Change of Scene and failing the young people who rely on us.
