Change of Scene New Site - Final Push!

Aim

After 17 years, Change of Scene is moving. A year long campaign has raised over £580,000 and we need one last push to succeed.

Background: For the last 17 years, Change of Scene has been working with young people struggling in education. With 1-2-1 support, they learn animal care alongside gardening, carpentry, cookery, craft and beekeeping with the aim of building self-esteem and resilience sufficiently for them to reengage with sustainable education. 

Success: The charity now needs to move and, after a five year search has been offered suitable new land by an umbrella charity, Wishanger Wellness. Planning permission was granted in December for a brand-new building including kids cabin, sensory, craft and reptile rooms, toilet and an office and work is due to start in the next few weeks. A year long fundraising campaign has raised over £580,000

But we still need your help: We need one last push to get over the line. The estimated cost of the move is £630,000 so we're around £50,000 short of our total.
