A yarn obsessed online craft business, producing crochet kits and pattern designs, plus online tutorials and local workshops.
Chameleon Crafters will be an online craft business selling colourful, crochet kits (of our own design) which contain everything that is required to make the project on the packaging (at the moment we are concentrating on a range of quirky animals!). We will also sell handmade crochet accessories and our own crochet patterns for download. We want to provide online video tutorials and in the future we want ti be able to offer one to one or group crochet lessons run from local venues. We want to work with our communities to support local craft businesses, we have a blog and have already reviewed a fabulous, newly opened local wool shop which has helped to spread the word that they are open for business! We have chosen two more local yarn shops to write reviews on.
Crocheting provides relief from the symptoms of depression, such as restlessness and anxiety and we have experienced this first hand. Crochet is now a major part of our lives and we'd like to inspire others to pick up a crochet hook and crotchet their way back to happy mental health.
We hope to raise £500. Your money will go towards designing and creating an easy to navigate ecommerce website, buy resources and supplies such as yarn, business cards, packaging materials and printing costs.
We have already created a couple of kits and brimming over with more woolly ideas we know this will be successful!
