Andy was a pioneer of UK digital media. He led ground breaking digital teams at Victoria Real, Channel 4 and All3Media, then co-founded Little Dot Studios. Highly admired in the industry- and a mentor to many who followed his footsteps- Andy passed away from a brain tumour in 2020, aged 50.
A proud son of Rochdale, Andy cared deeply that all young people should have the opportunity to achieve their goals and reach their potential. He was driven to increase diversity in the media- adamant opportunities should be equitable no matter who you are, whatever your background or stage of your career. Continuing the work Andy started, The Andy Taylor Foundation was established to create, and support, high-impact initiatives that open door to untapped potential.

This is an invite only event for employees of Fremantle, YouTube, Little Dot Studios, Paramount, Sony, C21, HatTrick, Night Train Media, C4, Strong Watch Studios and Zoo55

We are asking for a minimum donation of £10 per person to join a team (although you're welcome to give as much as you like- just type any amount into the CrowdFunder box). 

What's even more exciting is that every single donation you make will be match-funded up to £500 by the amazing team at Little Dot Studios. Your support will go twice as far, making an even greater impact!

Your money makes a big difference. The Andy Taylor Foundation will put money raised towards their work, including their new Digital Innovation bursary scheme with the Royal Television Society- supporting lower-income students passionate about a career in digital media. 

University changes lives. It changed Andy Taylor's life. However, it’s incredibly tough to access a University education nowadays. Fees can feel off-putting and maintenance loans are certainly far too low. Even if a young person from a disadvantaged background somehow manages the financial burden, sadly the playing field is still not level after they graduate without connected support around them. ATF’s Digital Innovation bursary work will level that playing field, supporting the next generation of digital talent- no matter where they were born or who they know. Recipients will get an annual monetary grant of £2,500 each, a MacBook, a “Summer Tour” visiting key industry companies, regular pastoral support, money can’t buy industry masterclasses, a tailored mentor pairing, networking opportunities, free attendance at key events, and much more. 

With your help, we can create more opportunities for more talented youngsters. Maybe we'll even find your next star employee!
