Aim
Funding our Open Studios event in the heart of Bristol! A chance to win a piece of work by an artist from our co-operative studio.
The Prizes
Be in for the chance to win a piece of work from one of our members in our studio, including ceramics, glass, jewellery, painting and prints.
The work will be available to view in our Gallery from 15 - 19th October.
The Cause
We are running this Prize Draw to raise funds for future Open Studios events. Any excess will go towards improving our event space The Chocolate Factory.
Our aims are to install adequate ventilation systems, allowing more events to take place in the Chocolate Factory, as well as resurfacing the floor. This will allow us to reach out and engage more with the vibrant community around us.
A little about us...
Centrespace is a thriving independent and sustainable community of artists and craftspeople offering both studio space, workshops, events and a gallery space for hire. The building was originally occupied by artists in the late 1970’s and has been running as a co-operative since 1987.
Centrespace runs as a co-operative and the studios, gallery exhibition and workshop spaces are maintained and managed by the studio members along with the Studio Co-ordinator and Gallery manager.

Based in the heart of Bristol’s Old City, Centrespace Cooperative has been supporting artists with affordable studio space for 45 years. Held over one weekend Centrespace Open Studios is a chance to meet the artists that make up the Co-op including award winning contemporary craft makers, illustrators, graphic designers, traditional upholsterers, printmakers, animators, fine artists, environmental architectural design and much more.
Both the studios and Centrespace Gallery will be open to explore, and the members of Centrespace welcome you to gain an insight into the world of an artist-led co-op and engage in Bristol’s creative community.
This year in addition to the studios there will be a film room showcasing animations and films and we will host talks in the gallery on Sunday afternoon.
A pop up cafe will be available all weekend and will be run by Cibomatto, a sustainable cuisine project by two food loving Italian’s. On the Saturday and Sunday they will be serving delicious food of a high-quality made with locally sourced ingredients, all lovingly prepared with expertise they inherited from their families in Italy.
On the Saturday evening we are hosting an exclusive ticketed party, with live music from members and friends.
This event is a rare opportunity to step into and glimpse behind Centrespace's studio doors, buy from some of Bristol's best independent artists and to experience the creative co-operative community of Centrespace, an open studio not to be missed.

Our prize draw closes on Wednesday 19th October 5:30pm. The winners will be notified within 2 weeks after this date. Unsuccessful entrants will not be notified.
In alignment with gambling regs, the raffle is open to residents of Great Britain only (Scotland, Wales, England).
