Aim

Help us to make our new premises fit for purpose to support people with their mental health and expand our care at home for older people.

About Centred in Caithness

Centred is the Scottish Highlands leading mental health charity with a large number of service users in the Caithness region.

Caithness Support Service is vital to the community of Caithness and supports elderly people in their own homes and people with wellbeing support.

We have the largest Care at Home support service as part of our commitment to Caithness. We currently provide a community based service to over 100 service users across Caithness.

We widely supports the local community by visiting people who need help in their everyday life. The service also supports face-to-face sessions at our premises in Wick including drop in sessions for those who need someone to talk to.

We urgently need help to refurbish new premises

The current office's lease came to an end this summer and the charity has moved into new premises which desperately needs a lot of TLC.

The new premises are at the Wellington Centre in Wick, however we require your help to fundraise and help cover the cost of the repairs required to make the building suitable for service users.

What will donations go towards

To make the building suitable for mental health and wellbeing support we require a number of things. These include kitchen and toilet equipment, tradespeople including electricians, painters and groundwork people and equipment.

This is just a sample of what we need.

The new premises will provide a valuable open working space for us, as well as more space to hold service user activities and to get everyone together in one area. With the addition of a bigger kitchen, the new premises will also allow us to do interactive activities with our service users such as cooking classes. The new building also has great outdoor space which is beneficial for mental wellbeing and helping our users enjoy the outdoors.

Please help us to reach our goal and help more people in the Caithness region suffering from mental health, wellbeing, addiction and substance abuse.
