Our club is developing it's own facility on the outskirts of Coventry to offer opportunities for 1000s to engage in trampoline gymnastics.
The Club
Established in 2013 CGCTC has developed substantially from a small club catering for 15 members to an organisation offer multi-disciplined gymnastics to over 200. Due to time and space restrictions in our current facilities the club’s growth is now prohibited. The club aims to provide high quality gymnastics programmes for children and adults from all walks of life including those with additional needs. We endeavour to offer trampoline and gymnastics from grass-roots recreational participation to elite sport for all people who wish to engage with the club regardless of their economic status.
Overview
Central Galaxy Coventry Trampoline Club CIO (CGCTC) is developing its own facility on the outskirts of Coventry to triple the membership of the club and offer opportunities for 1000s more people to engage in trampoline gymnastics and to lead healthier lifestyles. Through weekly classes or special events.

The Objective
The club is aiming to open a bespoke trampoline and gymnastics facility on the outskirts of Coventry. At the end of this the club aims to own its facility securing the long-term future of the sport in the City, specifically the club aims to:
• More than triple the club membership to over 750 club members accessing the sport each week
• Create eight full time equivalent jobs, including at least one apprenticeship
• Expand disability access to Trampoline & Gymnastics through the partnership with SEND Active.
The Need
The club has identified the need and the demand through market research and internal data. Currently the club has 220 members (this is currently limited through no further space or opportunity to hire for additional sessions). In addition, the club has 115 members on a waiting list and receives approximately 10 new enquiries per week. The large portion of our existing members, (25%) state that they want to participate more, however the club does not currently have the room to facilitate this.
In addition to this the club work with several local organisations to deliver sessions for marginal user groups. These partnerships include SENDActive Disability schools partnership, West Midlands Amateur Gymnastics Association & Coventry East Schools Sports Partnership & will help the club interact with 1000’s more participants each year.

Birmingham 2022 showcased to the world the brilliance of sport in the Midlands and our club wants to enhance that legacy for the local community offering the opportunity for people to participate in gymnastics, especially since the games the club has seen an increase in enquiries which we are currently unable to fill. This can be further enhanced by the 2023 World Trampoline Championships to be hosted in Birmingham and will inspire even more to take up the sport.

Over the last nearly 10 years we have not just created a club to offer trampoline and gymnastics at a recreational fun level we have also created an extremely successful competitive trampoline programme.
2 x West Midlands Trampoline Team Champions winning the title again on Sunday 30th October 2022.

The club is crowdfunding to support its long term goal of securing its own dedicated facility to increase provision of trampoline gymnastics for all in the greater Coventry area. This is a complex project largely focusing on ground preparation, structure construction and fit out of the gym.
We are working with various other organisations to financially secure the project, this crowdfunding campaign will help us over the finishing line achieving this amazing facility for the community.

The club intends on using the money raised to partially fund the investment required to build the centre. The investment entails a combination of groundworks - structure deposit costs and internal equipment to enhance the gym.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success! The club welcomes any amount large or small and all contributions will go towards the centre.
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. If you want to run your own fundraiser to support us, maybe a sponsored activity or similar, use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
