Gemma Fish is fundraising for Make 2nds Count Charity No. SC048268

£215
Well folks, as most of you know I have been battling breast cancer since my diagnosis in 2023, some of you may remember I found out about my cancer 3 days before my 40th birthday and was thrown head first into surgery and then treatment… I was determined to have a 41st birthday party but lo and behold cancer struck again in my ovaries (luckily found AFTER I’d had them removed) and that turned my world upside down once again, the hardest thing was getting my head around that I was never going to get the all clear I was chasing and that I was now classed as Stage 4…. Further tests showed suspect areas in my right lung and spine, but thankfully the problem area in my lung has reduced and the spots on my spine the same. My last two CT Scans have been stable and long may that continue!
However here we are a year on and Soooooooooo no matter WHAT I am having a Celebration of Life Party to mark my 42nd birthday and to just celebrate being alive - of course it has a fundraising twist and I’ll be raising funds for Make 2nds Count; an amazing but little known charity that’s supports men and women living with secondary breast cancer!
There are people who are unable to attend the evening but wish to support me hence me setting up this fundraising page! I’ve chosen to crowd fund too as Salford Council with hopefully match all the donations helping us to raise even more money for this amazing charity!
Thank you for reading and massive thanks and lots of love for your endless support xx
