I’m! very bad at this part! 

If you don’t know me, my name is Cecil, I’m an FtM trans man from the UK. For a long time now I’ve known that I’m extremely uncomfortable with my chest as it is, and I’ve been binding it for over four years. Unfortunately, because of the amount that I’m having to bind in order to function without feeling like ripping my skin off - especially at work where I’m regularly required to lift heavy objects - I’ve started to develop some really bad shoulder and back pain. It’s gotten to a point where I’m having to weigh up my physical health with my mental wellbeing and I know that that decision is going to be damaging to me either way. 

I’m currently on a waitlist to transition through the NHS, however that list is thirty months long and I have eight months left before my initial consultation (June 2021), followed by (up to) another twelve months before my second consultation (June 2022) where I can be perscribed hormones, and only after that would I be able to seek referral about top surgery (which I would still have to pay for, though not as much). If I were able to raise this money before April 2021 I could be recieving top surgery by July. 

It would mean an unbelieveable amount to me if you would be able to support me with this in any amount that you can. It’s literally all I want right now from anyone and it would improve my physical and mental health as well as, essentially, my standard of living tenfold. 

Disclaimer: the amount I’m fundraising doesn’t cover the full cost of my surgery, however I’m saving money myself to cover the rest!
