Connect Chamber Music Festival

Aim

To raise money for Manchester-based charities and projects through our love of chamber music.

The Connect Chamber Music Festival is a week long music event in Manchester that will run from June 12th to 17th. It is run by students from the Royal Northern College of Music who wanted a chance to share the music they love with the community, whilst raising money for important local charities and organisations. We have chosen a variety of amazing venues around Manchester to provide you with an exciting assortment of events throughout the week.

What is chamber music?

Chamber music is music composed for small groups of musicians that traditionally could fit into a room (chamber) to perform. The chamber groups in Connect Festival are all students at RNCM who love making music together and represent those who are pursuing a career in the industry as well as those will go into different areas of the music profession.
