About Us

CAS Community Solutions is a not-for- profit organisation, specialising in providing employment, education, training, young people projects, wellbeing and volunteering support. Our focus is to empower local people by providing support, training and skills designed to overcome barriers to self-reliance. We deliver free services to meet local and national needs, including the pandemic and the cost of living crisis.

The Community Hub

Practical support - the Community Hub will be delivered from our centre in Swanscombe, where we can offer a hot drink, snack and a light lunch (soup and a roll) to those affected by the cost-of-living crisis and / or experiencing food and fuel poverty.

In addition, we also want to provide thermos flasks for visitors would like to take soup or a hot drink home for later. The Community Hub will be supported by a trained worker who will provide 1:1 support  and advice on national and local help available to help with the cost-of living crisis.

Community support - in addition to this practical support, we want to offer a safe space with free Wi-Fi, where visitors can play board games and swop books. In partnership with our friends at Kent Adult Education we will also provide free craft and wellbeing activities during the hub sessions.
